Invigorate the Senses with Yogic Breathwork

Living Rituals Community Gathering

Live on Zoom | Recording Available

Monday, July 20 | 6:00–7:15 PM MST

Awaken Your Vital Energy Through Breath

Join us for a virtual gathering exploring the transformative practice of pranayama, the yogic science of working with the breath to cultivate vitality, mental clarity, and inner balance.

In both Yoga and Ayurveda, breath is far more than oxygen. It is the vehicle of prana, the vital life force that animates every cell, nourishes the mind, and connects us to the rhythms of nature. When prana flows freely, we experience greater energy, resilience, and ease. When it becomes disturbed, we may feel scattered, depleted, or disconnected.

Together, we will explore the foundations of pranayama and why it is considered one of the eight limbs of yoga as described by Patanjali. You will learn how conscious breathing influences the nervous system, supports mental and emotional wellbeing, and helps direct the movement of prana throughout the body.

During our practice, we will experience Dr. Vasant Lad's Package of Eight Pranayamas, a classical sequence designed to strengthen the lungs, awaken vitality, balance the doshas, and cultivate a steady, peaceful mind.

Together we will practice:

  • Bhastrika

  • Kapalabhati

  • Anuloma Viloma (Alternate Nostril Breathing)

  • Agni Sara

  • Bhramari (Humming Bee Breath)

  • Ujjayi

  • Shitali and Sitkari

  • Udgita

Whether you are completely new to breathwork or have an established yoga practice, this gathering will provide practical tools you can return to daily for greater energy, focus, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing.

Breath is one of the most accessible medicines we have.

Every conscious breath is an opportunity to regulate the nervous system, clarify the mind, and reconnect with your deepest vitality. Through these ancient practices, you'll leave with a toolkit you can integrate into your daily life to support health through every season.

Come breathe, restore, and reconnect with your own life force.

All participants receive access to the recording so you can continue practicing at your own pace.

Tiered pricing allows those with greater financial ease to help make these gatherings accessible to our wider community.
